Today's game is minecraft PS3 Edition. I dragged my PS3 over to my friends house again today. Last time my PS3's fans were screaming for mercy just from minecraft, but i opened it up and repasted the CELL and RSX and the fans were a lot quieter.
"My first message would be, if you're not comfortable, don't let your kids be on Roblox. That sounds a little counter-intuitive, but I would always trust parents to make their own decisions," the company's director noted.
I made a little bit more progress on Red Dead 2 today. Not much due to my progress being stopped by a crash. I moved the gang to Beaver Hollow though and went fishing as well.
Today's game is Mario Kart 64. I spent all day working on Red Dead 2, but after a crash i decided to kick back with Mario Kart 64. I ran an entire course through the first cup.
I spent about an hour today playing some Red Dead 2 (i promised the rest of the evening to my Siblings for Halo and my friend fore L4D2). In the time i played though, i got this sick nature shot of a Gator eating a Hog during the Albert Mason side quest.
As you're most probably used to by now, this is just my initial warning that what follows is my ranting and rambling about both Steam Deck-specific(ish) news, and general gaming news I've spotted and seems interesting to me.
I've been slowly chipping away at Red Dead 2 today. Mainly i did the Garden Party and the mission where you rob the River Boat. The river boat you have to board is the one above. The whole mission was a lot of fun and felt like a Ocean 11's style heist kind of. I liked having to watch Strauss's face to tell what poker move to make, especially because i don't know shit about poker.
From Jez Corden. Further supporting the idea that the next Xbox is just a PC with a custom shell, which is about the only way a new Xbox makes sense anyway.
I continued through Red Dead Redemption 2 today. I spent the entire evening doing Honor Missions and Stranger Missions. Upon returning to camp i got this sight of a rainbow over the swamp that i thought was pretty and wanted to share.
Attention all Balatro players (on PC), if you haven't tried the Pokermon mod yet drop what you're doing and give it a shot: https://www.nexusmods.com/balatro/mods/58
I went back to Red Dead Redemption 2 today and started chapter 4. It's hard to believe i'm already almost half way there, the game feels far shorter than i remember. I've been going out and doing stranger missions too to help get my honor up and because they can be fun.
If you do want to see Dani-like gamedev challenges go vote the challenge in this video's comments. There is no view limit to the challenge and I pick the best one from the comments! If the video gets popular I'll just have more motivation to make it but I'll do it anyway.

With recent big game releases, it's become obvious that a game is either a resounding success, or complete shit. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground.
Today's game is a horribly modded Left 4 Dead 2. Me and my friend have been wanting to play this for a while, and it's tradition for us to horribly mod it (The Zombies scare him, and i've beaten the game so many times vanilla that i like letting him mod it to mix it up, sometimes we'll even let our friend group just throw in mods to mix things up).
Maybe you're used to all of this now, but my attempt is to share an older style of gaming news post. Something maybe a lil bit like the old gaming blogs / news sites that the internet used to have. Casual, opinion-based, image-heavy and maybe-filled-with-things-you-already-spotted.
