Hello everyone! RockSlayer here with another mod update. Recently we had a metapost (found here!) seeking to amend the rules in light of a public disagreement between myself and another mod. Based on feedback from that metapost, we will be implementing a rule banning support for authoritarians. This is one more chance to provide feedback before we codify this rule as written:

Edit: After several days of allowing for people to discuss these rules, there has been no major feedback. In light of this, these rules are now considered the new rules of the community.
Writing for the outlet, Andrew Lisa explained that Americans hold a combined $160.35 trillion in wealth. To the average person, that sounds like quite the payday, but someone in the top 1% probably wouldn’t see it that way. According to Lisa, “The bottom 50% of the country shares less than 3% of that enormous pie, while the most fortunate 10% gorge on nearly all of it.”
Liberalism has failed. While it tried to somewhat remedy today's problems, it clearly wasn't enough. Especially with how much our corporate overlords outgrew even the past robber barons. The corporate social media, that were often used by anti-establishment activists, are often became extremely hostile to those, and instead boosted those that does take down the more liberal parts of the status quo. Liberals became more and more incompetent about trying to speak to the common people who do not understand economics to the same degree as they think.
It seems like now is a good time to have a conversation about finding common ground between the various factions of left/progressive folks. I know this isn't a new topic but maybe it's worth revisiting.

Hello comrades! Friendly reminder that American leftists continue to be threatened by gun loving conservatives. You should know how to defend yourself and you should probably own a gun. Find an active SRA, John Brown Gun Club, or (if things are dire) pink pistols or other “apolitical” gun club.
Pennsylvania Democrats have won legal challenges keeping the left-wing Party for Socialism and Liberation off the battleground state’s presidential ballot, at least for now, while a lawyer with deep Republican Party ties is working to help independent candidate Cornel West get on it.
