Barbarian/Rogue is actually a pretty solid adventuring multi class tbh. Which is as it should be, as it's what Conan is.
Very much the opposite of a min-max build, more of a "It's just a rogue with melee staying power or a barbarian with more skills" kind of thing but that's good.
Plus, you might be able to talk your DM into letting you lock pick chests with a STR check like Kratos.
too goddamn right. I don't know why I never realized that before.
I don't think Conan is a D&D barbarian because (at least in the Howard stories) he does not go into a state of battle rage and his fighting style is not characterized by a focus on offense at the expense of defense. I'd play him as a pure Fighter with stealth expertise.
