I wonder why. I didn’t notice the reason in the article.

It’s been replaced by the app. It definitely works better, and is generally a really great user experience. That being said, apps aren’t ideal for everyone, so this still sucks.

The app is certainly nice if you haven’t seen it. It shows an augmented reality view showing the exact path of the station through your sky, so you can’t miss it.

At a guess, Trump cuts.

If you still wanna check a website, I highly recommend heavens-above. The daily predictions for brighter satellites page on there is also great for seeing what will fly over on any given night (and the path across the star maps are accurate to help spot satellites!)

I didn't even know they had a website for tracking the ISS. I always use gpredict. It can even point your antenna at the station as it passes by if your rotor controller has a serial port.
